Streams and drainage basins were derived from a digital elevation model of the cable bay area, showing the natural drainage basins based on topography.

The Forest Canopy Height displays the average canopy height in meters for each 20m by 20m pixel, with darker green representing higher canopies. It was generated using LiDAR data collected by the BC government in May 2019. The LiDAR data can be accessed at BC Government LiDAR website.

Forest age data is by year at a 30m resolution with darker green representing older forest areas, derived from a study by Maltman et al. (2023).
